These terms govern your use of the Glossaro app, provided by Boostio s. r. o., Doležalova 3424/15C, 821 04 Bratislava - Ružinov, Slovakia, IČO 56 633 556. By using Glossaro you agree to them.
Using the app
Glossaro helps you learn a language. You may use it for your own personal learning. Please do not misuse the service, try to break its security, or use it to break the law. You are responsible for the content you upload and for keeping your account details safe.
Your account
You sign in with Apple, Google or email. Keep your sign-in details private. Tell us if you think someone else has access to your account.
Subscriptions and payments
- Glossaro offers a paid subscription that gives you the full set of features. The exact name, length and price of each plan are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You manage and cancel your subscription in the App Store account settings on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Any unused part of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Refunds for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple under their terms.
Content and accuracy
Translations, examples and grammar notes are generated to help you learn and can contain mistakes. Please do not rely on them for official, legal or medical purposes. The words and materials you save stay yours.
Availability
We work to keep Glossaro running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update or change features over time.
Liability
Glossaro is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Boostio s. r. o. is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Slovak and EU law.
Governing law and consumer rights
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply. As a consumer you may turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia, SOI) as the supervisory and out-of-court dispute-resolution body: SOI, Bajkalská 21/A, 827 99 Bratislava, www.soi.sk.
